WMEEF Formally Registered with the CAC

On 20 January 2026, the Warrake Muslims Education and Empowerment Foundation was formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), becoming a recognised nonprofit organisation.

Registration is an important first step. It gives the Foundation a formal, accountable structure for the work ahead — receiving support, partnering with others, and serving the community openly and transparently.

What this means

With registration in place, WMEEF can now:

• Operate as a recognised, accountable nonprofit
• Receive and account for contributions properly
• Build partnerships and collaborations to expand its reach

This milestone lays the groundwork for our mission: using Quranic education as the foundation and incentive for holistic empowerment across Warrake.
